A couple mornings ago around 110am.

Just had to stop and take a pic. Hopefully this opportunity won't present itself again
(Although I know eventually it will).   Obviously I was in the process of moving it to
a safer location.

That is a great and dramatic photograph. Thank you!

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

John.

Know exactly what you are feeling.  Had to move 1134 during the Thomas Fire.  Hopefully, the fire does not reach your house.  Stay safe my friend!

Good hear from you and others that so far have gotten by this one.  Hope all turns out well - unfortunately that can not be said for all.

Guess the winds at the moment when the picture was taken were heading away given the visibility. Hopefully (just guessing based on the one picture and angle) that it was running up to the crest and producing a firebreak of sorts on the back side back towards you

As always - in our thoughts and prayers, for everyone affected

Good luck to everyone one on the west coast in the path of the fires!!!!!

Thanks everyone.  The car is 99.99%  safe.  Its parked at the local Sheriffs station.  If the fire destroys that place (its obviously a major command center right now)  I could only imagine what the rest of So Cal could look like.

Prayers and good thoughts to everyone in danger out there.
