I was there when Ridenour exited the car after winning and he remarked about what a handful the car was to drive.  Probably not what S & C Ford would have scripted.  Event sticks in my mind as Shelby's Goodyear support team installed some race tires on my then street Cobra.

I have no notes that show 2564 had American wheels back then. It had chrome wires on it by the time it showed up at a SAAC event in the '90s.

It is always great to find a new source of photos for any event. Having several events is a big plus!
I was excited to see the tail end of the FIA Cobra's at SPA, hoping to capture the license plates for each car clearly...
No such luck with the one photo from that race. The hunt continues.
