    Yeah, and even though it might be 'just' a race car, being beat on the track and probably presenting something less than a perfect appearance (not yet being a million dollar collectable  ), notice how the spectator is examining the car (in the photo of the red #16 Cobra), that of in the proper fashion, hands behind his back, standing close but still remaining a reasonable distance and not leaning on the fender, etc.; it's called being respectful of the property of others. 

    Now, compare that to how the masses behave today!

This is CSX 2226, converted earlier in the summer of 1982 from a street car to compete in the GT1 class of SCCA racing. The photo is taken in the late summer of '82 and is at the old CDR (Continental Divide Raceway) just south of Castle Rock, CO.
Grungy guy on the left is me, the gent on the right is Grady Peacock. Driver/owner Bill Murray and crew chief Dave Murray are not shown in this photo.
