Yes - Thanks for posting all the photos!!!  Nice collection of '69 cars.

(anyone know the car number of the white '67 big-block with outboards?)

Same question as JD...

Any other photos of this '67 white GT500 or info?
Owner name? (PM that if anyone might know it)

The 67 was a 4-speed  a/c  cal. smog lime green gt350.  24 69-70s i think & one never got off the trailer & 1 drag pack vert guy hurt his back so car was registered but he couldnt make the trip i was told either way it should be a record of most in 1 place since 1970 but not sure of that either. 5 rare yellow in 1 place should be a record & 5 drag pack gt500 verts should be a record. I was working on 3 more from my area going but not enought trailers & too busy helping out with the mecum  Steve Juliano auction but hey we all got free passes from mecum.

Thanks Ed!!!

I was wondering why it appeared to have a single carb air cleaner (with that odd base). It has a deceptive 'GT500' grille emblem.

There were only two (2) '67's built with 67203F7A0xxxx VINs. That narrows it down quite a bit (#2589 or #3188)
My guess is #2589 as the other car is pictured in the registry in a dark paint color and noted for a future planned restoration back to Lime Gold.

Edit; not a 203F package see below posts

So I'm off the hook? . If George never took his off the trailer he should have taken mine in it's place since he lives right by me. LOL. I think it was George, right, Ed?  Gary

It could pass for a barn find prototype given the boss 302 transplant engine, 68 deluxe door panels,70 high back bucket seats among other things. The owner ( local Indy guy) had the Shelby numbers covered up on both sides. Maybe so after restoration a future owner would not have to bare the scarlet letter of it's previous out of the ordinary condition.

Scarlet letter! Oooh, I guess so with all the mix matched parts mentioned.

If it is a 67203F7Axxxx car and only 1 of 2 that's something positive for the current and future owners.
We know A/C is not common among the 67's. With less than about 10% of production getting it.

Edit;
Thanks for posting the VIN photo '65Clone'

Not a 203F but rather a 201F package...
Only 11 Lime Gold GT350 with a 4-speed and A/C so still rare, but a few too many options to narrow down.

I suspect all 11 would have outboard grille lights. The two earliest SA completion dates in late March and shipped in late march would not have the Z stamp.
Of the nine remaining, we know several are currently or recently painted Lime Gold (or other colors, not white).
That leaves us with #1780, #2013, #2294, & #2295 (#2295 was reported to have been painted white in '99)

Shelbymann1970 asked: Was the free Mecum a 1 time deal for SAAC?

The offer was for this year to help with promoting the Steve Juliano collection. Now that Mecum knows there is a major Shelby event going on the same weekend as the Indy Auction, they (might)want to work with IN SAAC for future events.

My wife said she would like to go next year. She loves the town and area. She endured the auction and actually liked it but was negative going in as auctioneers drive her crazy(too much bar-jack on TV over the years?). She enjoyed your show also Brent. It would be nice if Dana offers the same thing next year to the Shelby clan. One of the reasons for not bringing my vert was I was leery what to do with it. The security. Going to Indy on Friday what to do with the hauler. Staying in town. Many questions I will need answered next year if I can swing-or own- a trailer to start taking my vert to out of state events. Thanks again for your time and effort on putting on this show that I have been getting mail for for almost 30 years now and finally attended. Gary

Gary, This was my first year at the event, but I can at least comment on what we did with the trailer/security.  Trailers/tow vehicles were parked at the pool parking area (I think).  It was a bit congested with mountain biker parked vehicles/other trailers when we loaded car on Saturday night, but it was doable.  We unloaded my convertible friday night and left it parked outside overnight at the lodge along with at least 20 other shelbys.  I wasn't worried about it since we were inside a park - perhaps I should have been, but no issues.  I've been caught in the rain driving my shelby so I am getting more comfortable with leaving it outside overnight, etc.  If not for my friend Vytas with an enclosed trailer and tow vehicle, I would not have attended the SAAC conventions at VIR, Poconos, Mustang 50th show in Charlotte, NC, etc.  I don't know how to do the tie down process.  Vytas has a lock on the hub so trailer could not be towed away very easily.  I have the car, and he has the towing capabilities, so together we can trailer my shelby.  It is a good team effort.  Hope this helps.

We have additional trailer parking space available at the horse park. This is right across the road from the trailer/mountain bike parking area.
The park is patrolled after hours by both the Brown County Sheriffs Department and the Park Rangers.

Most people, including myself, unload their cars and park them at the lodge, or near the cabin they are staying in. You can even park right in front of the lodge if you like.

Glad you liked the Spring Fling, hope you return next year.
