Pit stop word jumble/CS estate lawsuit
« on: April 13, 2019, 08:40:25 PM »
Today’s word jumble (at least in the L.A. times)has (as the clue)”The race car drives had his own line of deodorant called......” You know the solution. My question would be if anyone knows whether the estate still owns the trademark for pit stop.If so I smell (pun intended) a lawsuit ;)

Hi 557,

Here is the JUMBLE puzzle you mentioned.  My wife found and solved relativity quick.  I am not sure I understand your "lawsuit" comment.  IMHO, I see no infringement, smell or no smell.

The deodorant, held by the bald character in the comic, looks like a roll on, not a spray.

This might have qualified for an "EAGLE EYE".

Thanks for finding

Cory
