So I need a set of tires for my GT350..... I am learning that the BFG T/As may not be the replacement tire of choice.

What are my options for weekend driving, and is 225/60R15 the best/recommended size for my '67 ?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I've run both BFGs and Cooper Cobras on my old Stangs.
I recently had a 67 GT FB restored and put 15x7 steel style wheels on it with 215/65/15 Cooper Cobras RWL on it...a tire package from CJPP.
I think that combo looks really well.
Mine are used for weekend driving and an occasional drive to work now and then.
I think I like the look of the Coopers better and they may be a better overall tire.

The Cooper Cobras have a higher speed rating, and better reviews on Tire Rack, than the BFGs.

It's too bad Cooper offers the exact same size portfolio that BFG does. When BFG dropped 275/50-15" so did Cooper.

I have long believed Cooper buys all or part of their tire from BFG. To me they are the same tire with a different tread.

Is 225/60R15 a good size fit for a stock '67 GT350 with 7 in 10 spokes ?

It's a little small. You should be able to use 235-60-15. I am.

275-60-15 will actually fit in the rear. I'm using 295-50-15 in the rear but I'm cheating.

I am running Uniroyal Tiger Paw on my car.
Actually, more like "pushing" the Uniroyal as my car is still undergoing restoration.
The tires are 235.60.15.
