Selling an original K code 9" rearend. It's complete drum to drum.
Center section is dated 7B23 so I assume that's obviosuly been changed.

Not sure of the gear ratio. Housing is very nice. Has the brake line bracket.

Has the correct pinion snubber bracket for a 66.

Very nice original piece.

52" backing plate to backing plate. Spring perches 44" center to center.

$1850.00 or best offer. Will pallet and ship. Buyer pays for shipping.

Located in Beckley WV 25801.

Call or email for pictures.

Which pinion snubber bracket is it?  The 65 or the 66 . They are different.

Good question Bob ...
If you are not sure how to tell then a picture front facing of the shield will show the difference.

Looks like a 65 and carryover.  I believe the 66 had a the big drain plug.

The center section is from a 67 and the snubber bracket is from a 66.

Agreed. Also, the cover on the back of the center section looks dome shaped - indicating a 1965 housing. The 66 is more of a half dome. Although I don't know if there might be some overlap between the years on that feature.

Bob, Thanks for the education.  I knew it wasn't a 66 but how did you know it was for a 67?  Always learning :-)

No special expertise just simply read the OP's post where he stated it had a 7B23 dated center section. That decodes as Feb 23 1967.

Thanks Bob, I knew the center section was, I thought there was a difference in the axle housing with 66 being the large drain plug and hump and the 65's rounded back with small drain plug.  I thought you were pointing out that the housing was a 67 and wondering what the difference was.

Nope , I said center section and meant center section just like the OP. I was explaining the combination of parts.
