Pair of Dana Chevrolet license plate frames. Guy in town  has a nice pair on a non-Dana Chevelle just can't seem to get hime to let go. Been trying for 6 years or so. Typically they have Robert Brown on the back side of the frame

Gotham Ford NYC license plate frames.  I have never even seen one of the frames to know if they ever existed.

Not up on Chevy Dana, who is he or she?

Dana Chevrolet is the dealership that Peyton Crammer with a partner purchased after he was turned down by Ford for a dealership and after his exit from  Shelby following the 66 Hertz program. It became the famous equivalent of Motion, Baldwin, Nickey, Yenko of the western US.

A post on another forum that shows a three page article from 67 describing the dealership during it first year or so plus a bunch of additional pictures and info of the famous dealership

http://camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=9092.0

They covered drag racing, road racing and Trans Am entries during the late 60's backing cars like Z/28 Trans Am car, the 427 Camaro drag car, the 427 street cars, the ELVA, Cam AM and the L88 Corvette LeMans race car.

Peyton Cramer finally got a Lincoln Mercury dealership from Ford. Guess they got tired of him making $$$ for GM. Ya gotta love a dealership that offers street race prep.

C4ZA Leaf Springs.  The stamped part number is: C4ZA5556S.  I would need the dates to be in the range from 140 E5 to 240 E5.

Been trying for YEARS!

Steve

My 65 A code coupe has this part number but the date is 262E4.
