I want to rechrome a piece on one of Kiwis vehicles in the color of the vehicle.
Anyone know anything about that?
And is it possible for just one piece?
Think air cleaner lid.
Thnx

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Sounds like anodizing.  Gold/blue/red tint?  Might be other colors available, but check with a place that does this.

Not sure how it would hold up, however you could try to wrap it with the chrome colored vinyl. Would be a cheap fast and easy way to do it if you could find a color that was close to what you were looking to do. Also saves the air cleaner if you didn't like it, just remove it-

Edlebrock used to offer black chrome manifolds, I used his supplier to do some valve covers.

It was powdercoat. Looked great, scratched by looking at it hard.   :o

Qual Chrome used to do black, but it wouldn't stay black, so it was discontinued. So is Qual-chrome.
