Guys,
I'm being told that I might have the wrong power steering brackets for a 1967 GT500,January build date.  What part numbers am I looking for on the brackets and does anyone have a picture they can share?

Thanks

Could you be a little more descriptive of what "power steering brackets" you are referring to? I have a feeling you are inquiring about something other then the brackets.

Bob,
I'm referring to the two brackets that hold the pump on. There is a black metal one coming off of the block that attaches to an aluminum bracket on the pump?

Special Ed

The alum c7ae  but metal mounting adjuster plate no id but a common part for 390 428s.

Would be most helpful if you can post image(s) of what you're being told is "wrong" or say what aspect of what you have is "wrong".

Coralsnake

Should look similar to the 1968 version

Your PS pump would not bolt up properly if using the wrong PS pump bracket in the front  . The picture Coralsnake posted is the correct front bracket.  I posted a picture of the rear bracket used on the 67 Shelby's BB or SB which is interchangeable with other applications and years. It goes from a second thin nut on the back of the pump over to the head behind the aluminum bracket and held on with the long nutted stud. The rear bracket is frequently replaced with a incorrect one by restorers or PO's .

...or are you asking about the stamped steel front bracket, see attached the two yellow arrows are steel and the red is aluminum.  The smaller yellow arrow is pointing to the bracket Bob posted above.

(note image is a SB but trying to identify which steel bracket he's asking about)

I have them off of the car right now. Do you want pictures of them?
