Thank you. Corrected.
Your point is well taken: 1965 Shelby American prepared Mustangs may well include any body variant.

Thanks for the new input ...

i found another pic, little different to the first i post,
we can see the running horse from a standard Mustang better.

in no other "Group" Pic inside the garage i can see a dark paint standard mustang.

another advertisment from FOMOCO with Shelby Parts, COBRA Valve Covers and 2-4v induction kit

The csr in question does not have to be a prototype or Shelby project.

Hey,

after 2 years i want just to take the dust of it...

no big found but whenever i found a new Pic for Carter Ave. Building i just posted
here and save it for future ...

in a 1987 Mag called "Shelby American Cobra / Mustang Guide Hot Rod Automotive Series 1"

is a new to me Pic from the very first GT350 Pic which i doesnt know from Petersen Archive,
even they owend the Hot Rod Magazin

so i have to learned it again, there is always a little bit more to see :-D

Looks like the same oddly cropped picture as the one below. Not sure where mine came from but likely of the same origin. Does appear to be the area just in front of the paint booth

Your are absolutly right

Same Pic, and position left side between Windows and Paint Booth

the working on a Cobra is also nice to see ...
