Hertz correct spare wheel
« on: June 29, 2019, 05:35:03 PM »
My Hertz never has had a spare in it since I bought it !! Which wheel was in the trunks? I have two to choose from ! I’m thinking I got the gray painted from 6s013? Or The chrome as the other four?

+1 for Chrome, if you think about it would be most logical for the spare to match the other 4 ,and it does.

6S550 had 5 chrome wheels when I bought it in 1967. Ron
Original owner of 6S550. Owned since 1967. 64,000 Miles, all body original except hood and front valance. All glass original except windshield. Still has aluminum 4 speed. Has replacement Mico.  Also own 1966 Mustang convertible. They are drivers, not trailer queens.

Thanks for the info everyone! Chrome it is!! I’ve seen some turning the shiny side upside down?? I’m liking the idea of chrome up ?? Now I’ve got to find a spare tire and those blue streaks are a bit pricey? Any used ones out there??
