My car came with the AM/8 Track radio.  What did the face look like/say on it (nothing, mustang, shelby)?  Does anyone have a photo that they could post

From the interweb / not in the best condition / wiring is easy to replace / Look for the T9MZ stamping

Cool, Now I know what one looks like.

Lol, Since I drive my Mach1 so much, I took my original AM radio out of my 69 Mach1 and opted for a CD/AM/FM several years ago.  ;D

Now that is way cooler than the radio IMHO

I need me one of those.... but not for $800..

I would say $500-600 for a fully serviced one in good condition is about right

Good luck on finding one. I got lucky as I got  mine rebuilt from Mike Johnson when Tim Lea was restoring Mike's 68 Shelby(69 radio in car). Pete is pretty spot on on the price I'd say but there are the typical dealers wanting stupid prices for them. Mine also had a 3.5MM jack added to it. Mine is in my Mach1 as it was a factory 8-track car.
