Was that Burt Reynolds (RIP) as Boss Hoss?

It must NOT have been a good movie. I don't remember seeing it!

Hi all,

I had a buddy that was offered this car a few years ago.  IIRC, don't quote me, but I believe it is a coupe converted to fastback.  A quick review of the VIN will reveal the original body style.  I do not know how well the conversion was made, but the workmanship might be a little lacking.  He passed on the car, but still a movie car.

Take care

Cory

P.S.  The auction does reveal the car Ford VIN as 7F01T221682.  The third and fourth characters 01 is a hardtop.  It is confirmed.  The car was also a six cylinder 1V.  They probably picked the best car to modify.  It probably was cheap to purchase initially.

I know it was sold by the builder in hollywood some years ago because I also talked to him then, price then was 25.500$ for me and I thought it was to much because of the vin and how it is build. The best part of the movie was Jessica Simpson and the both guys going crazy with the charger.

I also was able to buy the Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift 67 Fastback over 5 years ago from the builder who did them for the FF movies price then was 25.000 $ it was the one which is now for sale for unbelievable 130.000$ I didnt bought it then because in Tokyo Drift Paul Walker etc. were not playing.

I have something more interesting at the moment, the Kübelwagen from the Movie "Monuments Man" with George Clooney, Brad Pitt, etc. its the original Hero Car from the Movie and sitting here in germany.

Say what you want about it, but I like it more than any Eleanor.
