Yes, I'm playing off Pete the Coralsnake's thread, but the purpose is the same. Let's get those updates and COLOR photos in for the upcoming registries!

That's right, today I'm 1 car short of 1,000 different '67 Shelby photos. All of them have been sent to Dave, our '67 Shelby registrar. Time is nearly up. Get them in NOW!
dmathews@prodigy.net

Let's get the most photos represented of any year. The challenge was already thrown by the '68 crew. I even helped them out by sending some photos in for their cause!
Will they return the favor?
;D

Here's a glimpse at what I've gathered for our '67s, right up to the last VIN

Rich, I'm sure you have pics of '67 GT350 (#1300) ?  that car was last, 2016, here in Canada. I can't see all the images you posted as thumbnails

Actually, I just spotted #1300 for the first time at the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA this June. I hovered around the car several times during the day, but never found the owner. I was able to get several good photos of that one. I was a nice surprise as I thought it was one of the local 67s that looks nearly identical. The only other '67 on display there was Roy Simkins #3040 GT500. He was nowhere to be found all day either.

I only posted thumbnails of the last VIN numbered cars from what would fit on my screen. Just a teaser for the upcoming new registry.

Hi to all on this subject,
The owner of 1300 lives close to me and last week he said he hopes to attend the Woodward cruise this weekend !!
Great job on the collection of pics Rich!!
Regards R.R.

Hi Roy,
Yea, it would have helped if I had your number at Carlisle. it's here at home on file somewhere.

RR.
Thanks for the heads up on 1300 for the Woodward cruise!

I just passed 999 cars! I'm now at 1,002 of them
(1002 front views, I have a couple of cars with only photos of the back, I don't count those)

When you say 'one' do mean others or me?

For others; I hope everyone has been sending in photos and updates to our '67 registrar Dave.
I have sent all of these 1002 collected exterior photos to Dave so he can include them (if he doesn't already have them) in the upcoming registry.

For me; It's all about the research. Each new found car and any documentation (Shelby American papers or a Marti report) is a piece of the puzzle. It all helps to answer many questions that have been lingering for years. Progress is getting being made and the next registry will certainly reflect some of them.
