Buy a repop mirror and swap the glass onto your original mirror.

....But the re-pop mirror doesn't have the nomenclature etched in the glass.

Dat's right....I have an original that I pray to at night while a repop occupies 6s843.

Hi Phred,  buy a used mirror with some issues like chrome pitting or broken mount, part out and use the mirror part if you want original and save a few bucks.  You might need to be a little patient for the right one to come along, but they are out there.  These mirrors are not that rare.

Glass transplant. I like it! More useful info than my useless commentary.  What if the transplanted glass mirror has some special property to it that allows him to now see future events...hmmmm. I think I can get something out of that.
