SAAC NorthWest Celebrating 40 years today
« on: September 14, 2019, 09:18:23 AM »
Yes, SAAC NorthWest is having its 40th year celebration picnic today at my house in Newberg, OR. We have over 40 people coming including some of our very first members. We expect more than 20 cars. What a great group we have up here in Oregon. I moved up here in 2016 from Fresno, CA and love it, especially the level of Shelby people. Will post some photos after the party.

See you there!  Sounds like a fun time and the weather looks like it will be good.

Met a guy from your club about 20 years ago. Think he was an “officer” in the club. He sold his car roughly 2008. He had a pretty rare 67-350, white, stick , factory AC car.
Can’t remember his name. Did an inspection for me in OR.

Keith, your name was mentioned many times. Sorry we missed you. We had about 35 people and 22 cars. Was one of the biggest gathering of real Shelbys and a Cobra in this area in a long time. We hope you can make it to one of our upcoming events.

A few photos from the day.  Great fun.  Gary has a great place for this.  There was a memorabilia section, slide show of old club photos, excellent food, deserts, amazing cars and great people.   Phil Henny was also able to join us, which was a real treat (worked for on GT40s back in the day).

Thanks for sharing . Looks like a great time. Was just up in the local area couple of weeks ago. Had I known might have rearranged dates and attended.

Again thanks for the posting and pictures
