Disney GT-350R ride tickets
« on: October 02, 2019, 06:04:21 PM »
Vintage Disney tickets found, most of you don't remember Autoland with it's rides, including the GT-350R drive and for the young children, the Corvette adventure ride. Those were the good old days!

Funny - the Corvette is an A ticket - bottom of the scale and the GT350 is an E - top of the scale.
I don't remember Autoland but there were 2 Autopia rides. One in Fantasyland and the other in Tomorrowland. My daughter worked on it in the 90s. They wouldn't let her drive the Monorail - too many speeding tickets.

Boy there's no getting anything by you guys, did the fact that the "A" ticket which is for the little kids rides, in this case little girls type of rides would interest those wanting to experience the Corvette ride, give it away or the tickets color? These are used to display at car shows on an R-model replica. The Corvette guys are usually the last to get it.

Change to Autopia & Midget Autopia to be more accurate.

Midget Autopia opened in 1956, giving youngsters the opportunity to get the same car-driving experience that older kids and adults had with Autopia. The ride was remote controlled though, so the children were never in control of the vehicles. Midget Autopia (whose non-politically correct name was meant to reference the cars, not the guests who would drive them) closed in 1966 to make room for It's A Small World.
