I would like to lodge a formal complaint with the rules committee. I guessed $3.5M but "Biggie" failed to recognize my bid. Or was it the closest without going over? Ruling committee please...  :D ;)

When did you place that estimate My Friend?

"Honey, I just bought the Bullitt Mustang."

"You bought a Mustang with bullet holes? What?"

"No, I bought the famous movie car from the movie, Bullitt."

"How much did you spend?"

"Three point four million."

"Whaaaaaaaaaaa?????"
Apparently and ironically the buyer's name is Frank.

Frank better hide it. Immediately.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Put me down for 3.5M if it is not too late.

David is the winner!

This changes my entire plans for the weekend! :-)

Congrats to the Biggie Auction Estimate winner!

I made it into the Top Three.  Was fun when bidding stalled at $3.1 Mill (my guess) for a little while.

I was starting to pack my bags for Biggie Resorts Int'l in Burnout World.

Don our sincerest apologies for this auditing error that has occurred.

The good:
Through our connections we have contacted Colonel   (we think army, not sure)Sanders and he has graciously donated this most delicious KFC family pack.

The bad:
Was to be delivered on that same Aloha Airlines flight  by some guy named Rudy...

I am actually relieved that David won.  He will have to deal with collecting his "reward".  As for my consolation prize, I will be checking the local aviation boneyard for decaying fried chickens nestled in a gold helmet.  A much better prize than the guy who just paid millions for a rusted out Mustang missing original parts that spent decades with chickens in a barn.  Heck, he doesn't even have dozens of automotive magazines around now to write about the event and continue the notoriety and mystique.  Sad.

Now we should have a challenge as to how long the before the Bullit Mustang comes back for another auction.

Mahalo and aloha,

What I want to know was if the buyer received one of the promotional packs worth about 60 bucks they kept announcing the buyers of cars during a specific time frame would receive
