Some more information has come to light concerning the Gagnon Spring '67 Mustang shown above.
I was contacted by Greg Kolasa, author with Chuck Cantwell of the book "Shelby Mustang GT350" in regards the Gagnon Spring
car. They are doing some research on the '67 Shelby Grp.11 cars.
The info came in a round about way after inquiries by Kolasa, from some one in Quebec, Canada, through Jon Mello who is on the
Camaros.org site. Even those Chevy guys are interested in the competition
I've include some more images of the car, raced by Steve Brownstein in '67, a couple from the unofficial '67 Trans-Am race at St.
Jovite in Quebec, where he crashed. quite a few teams were drawn to that race, the prize money was high, $25,000.
And one from the rear, I believe to be Lime Rock, Brownstein was sponsored by Schnurmacher Ford, Hewlett, N.Y. on Long Island,
were they a Shelby dealer ? He only did a couple of the official '67 Trans-Am races.
Also an image of the info that came out of Quebec.
It seems that this car was one of the Shelby built '67 Grp. 11 cars.
