Yes ,I am sure somewhere . It is just a hard item to find when you need it. You never know when one will turn up. I don't think I have ever seen one sold separately from a carburetor .I suppose there is always a first time.

These carbs are so rare, I have only seen a few. Of those none had a tag on the carb. I'm not questioning anyone. More like comparing information.

As far as the date code, the ONLY ones I've seen had 69 date codes on them.

After seeing the install instructions on the intake manifold "recall" that instructs to reinstall the existing carb and never a recall to install the carb, I question calling any of them a "recall carb" at all.

I don't see where they are a "service" carb either since there would have been an additional indication on the airhorn of something similar to a -1 like on other Holleys.

Have dealer invoices that show inclusion of both S8MS A, S8MS C carbs
Assembly line versions will have 832, 834 dates

Charles, If you're unable to locate the one you're looking for, you might want to check with Marti Auto Works, they make reproduction carburetor tags for some models. Denny

Thanks for all the replies.  Went ahead and ordered one from Kevin... something is better than nothing.

Kevin's tags are usually very good, I wouldn't consider it much of a compromise.
