Very interesting that in the nearly two months since the auction, the buyer's name still remains a secret.

In these days of the internet knowing everything about everyone, I'm surprised that the name hasn't been revealed.
[/quote] Can confirm it was a US buyer which is the most important thing IMHO.

The yellow convertible sold privately recently

Two of the cars are now in the same collection

So the yellow and red car are together ?

I hope our fellow Shelby enthusiast is indeed ok.
Or gets better from whatever ails him.

Mr Gaines

A one and a two?
Pete is referring to 67 0002 . It would be nice to have book ends .

Wouldn't that mean you should really buy 3225?

I don't understand why John's name is both correctly spelled (Atzbach) and incorrectly spelled within this topic??  Were two topics merged?

Hi 68blk500c,

I have been sending notes to many of the posters to make the correction. Some have fixed and others have not.   You can correct with "modify" in your own post. If everyone can fix their post that is still incorrect, we can get to one correct spelling.  I got the OP to fix, so subsequent posts would be correct.  The correct spelling is Atzbach, no "s".

Stay well

Good information, Cory.  I encourage those folks to correct their posts so that it is right.  John deserves to have his name properly known, especially in this audience.
