My Apologies.
« on: March 17, 2020, 06:52:31 AM »
I thought perhaps a little humor would lighten the climate we're living currently in.  Instead, it's removed once again with no justification.  No real surprise considering the bitterness of some here.

I once was fired for saying 'good morning' to the "boss". Humor is subjective.

I didn't see your post, so I can't comment one way or the other.

I will say that it's good to have you back and cooler heads must prevail.

I read your post.  Thought it was funny.  I don't believe it should of been removed.

I really wasn't apologizing either. It was sarcasm. It had no political references and wasn't crude yet some ass decided to delete it. No message, no explanation. It simply means I am being targeted by the good ole' boys club.
So I think the individual that deleted it should openly explain why it was removed.

Being censured isn't fun. I lost count of how many of my posts were pulled by Bill here on this revised Forum? He probably can't tell you either? I just had one yesterday "mysteriously disappear"?

I don't worry about it. That's a moderators job. He does it for free.

I've done "volunteer" jobs also. Doing them sometimes I was accused of being overpaid...and I was doing them for free?

In retrospect, I do remember being "councelled" as a teen by my Dad. In a nutshell what he said was, "hey Doug, when the cop comes to break up the fight, he doesn't care who started it. He hits you both over the head with the club, throws you in jail, and lets the Judge work it out in the morning".

Now I know that that kind of a comment flusters a response, but the fact of the matter is, it's reality.

The best advice is to stop getting in a "bar fight", adapt your perspective, get over it, and move on, with this as wisdom gained?

I will also point out and make this public but the ORIGINAL OWNER of this site, who was not SAAC, recommended me to Ron for a "moderators" job HERE. Ron responded, "let's wait and see how that goes?" That was 13 years ago and we are still analyzing that?

Maybe that's for the best? How could I ban Ron?
