Yes. It's the real deal.  It's also a listing from a member here, Jim Cowles.  Shelby Parts and Restoration.

I should have noticed the seller. If I had I never would have asked the question. Sorry for the oversight Jim.

I have the C7ZX compressor on my car. I don't see what the difference is between it and the original compressor on my Pantera or for that matter, other aluminum York compressors of the era other then the tag?

I'm wondering if you are just paying for the tag on it?

The Going Thing

What is different about the internals? The valve plate? If so, what in particular?

Bob Gaines

The clutch included appears to be the one used with a 68 Shelby and not the one typically used with a 67 from the assemblyline. They will however interchange with each other .

Painted? I thought they were supposed to be natural aluminum?

Often (for other more typical applications)  yes but in this application no

I think I've gotta' go get my head shrunk? Are you guys afraid of being deposed by an attorney or something? What gives?

The Shelby units were typically painted aluminum color. Don't ask me why the aluminum York compressors where typically painted with aluminum paint but "that is just the way it is" . Where have I heard that before? :D

Didn't think a long list of non- painted applications would help the discussion and wanted to differentiate between the typical finish and the finished use for 67 Shelby applications

Sorry it confused

Okay, I will. What "internally" is different on the aluminum York compressor?
