Amazing pic!

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Seems it wasn't that out of the ordinary to have a tow hitch on cars then.  A '68 Shelby a friend of mine bought was used by the original owner to tow his sailboat!

Did he have more than one?

First photo looks pretty sketchy from standpoint of stability.

I'm thinking the 68 is just backed up to the Trailer to keep someone from hooking up to the trailer and leaving with it.

You guys must not be out west where some states allow double trailering.

Imagine a F250 with a 38' long camper/trailer hanging on the back, then a 19' boat & trailer connected to the back of the 38' camper trailer.

Now THAT is insanity.

All depends in what part of the country you live in I'd say. Where i'm at in W.North Carolina they're mountains at every direction of the compass.  STEEP mountainous road and interstates. In every direction from me at least a 200+ mile radius. We see double tractor/trailers, but I've never seen anything smaller than that with double trailers around the southeast.

Can’t imagine pulling a trailer with anything other than a dedicated tow vehicle.
Times were different then tho...

My neighbor in Michigan does that routinely, living on a dead end road, it's a pain in the ah... neck because he blocks the whole road loading and unloading.
